Find one example of each of the following quantitative research strategies in any of the major family-related journals: experiment, sample survey, and nonreactive methods. Briefly describe the research technique in each article.
Using one of the studies you located in the first question, critique the research method using whatever criteria you feel are appropriate.
Choose a family-related topic of interest to you, and present brief (about one paragraph) descriptions of how you might study that topic using each of the following: (a) an experiment, (b) a sample survey using telephone interviews, (c) a survey over the Internet, and (d) a nonreactive method.
